Great Waters Financial is seeking to hire a detail oriented Trader to join the Trading team at our central office.

Responsibilities

  • Understand our policies and live out our Core Values
  • Prepare, execute and document client account trades and cash management requests
  • Process portfolio rebalancing
  • Ensure the timely and accurate trading of accounts
  • Actively review settled trades for quality control
  • Mange portfolio models in conjunction with portfolio managers
  • Work with custodian to resolve trade issues
  • Monitor accounts for out of tolerance alerts
  • Create and run analysis reports on model performance
  • Prepare client accounts for billing
  • Work within department to create and improve processes

  • Creative thinking and problem solving proficiency
  • Analytical and numerical expertise
  • Ability to focus, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • An interest in financial markets
  • Ability and willingness to learn new things
  • Experience with data (input, control and analysis), Microsoft excel, and trading and reporting softwares
  • Tech savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly (Experience with MacOS preferred)
  • Trading experience preferred
  • Series 65 or Series 66 Certified
